Imo State University, Owerri, hereby announces to the general public, especially its prospective students, that the registration of candidates for the 2024/2025 POST-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise will commence on Thursday, 1st August, 2024.
We have created IMSU WhatsApp group for aspirants and prospective students of Imo State University (IMSU). The idea is to help candidates stay updated regarding Post-UTME and Admission activities for the 2024/2025 academic session in IMSU.
ELIGIBILITY
✓ Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri as first choice and scored a minimum of 170 in the UTME.
✓ Candidates who did not choose Imo State University as first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website and change their institution of first choice to Imo State University, Owerri
✓ Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree, ‘A’ Level or their equivalents in relevant disciplines and subjects:
✓ Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results were uploaded to JAMB Candidates whose ‘O’ Level results are being awaited are advised to also upload same to JAMB as soon as the results were released.
✓ Candidates that failed to upload their results to JAMB will not be considered for admission.
HOW TO APPLY
i. Visit the University website at: https://www.imsuonline.edu.ng/putme/ and click on 2024/2025 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application
ii. Enter your JAMB registration number to check for eligibility if eligible, make payment and fill the form as presented
iii. Enter correctly, your JAMB Registration Number Only, as your Invoice Number, make payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00), and print receipt
iv. Go back to https://imsuonline.edu.ng after 24 hours of completing payment, click on 2024/2025 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application again to complete the Application form; for easier access, candidates are encouraged to use the IMSU Microfinance Bank
V. Present the acknowledgement slip at the PUTME/DE screening venue on the date of the screening examination .
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES In addition to the online application, Direct Entry candidates must also ensure that their OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level result(s) or their equivalents are forwarded to the Registrar, Imo State University. Owerri.
